To enable the ERV/HRV anytime the supply fan is enabled:
Wire the thermostat’s (G) output to both the supply fan and the ERV/HRV enable signal.
To enable the ERV/HRV anytime there is an active Demand Ventilation cycle:
Wire the PEARL’s (E) output to the ERV/HRV enable signal.
To enable the ERV/HRV anytime there is an active Economizer cycle:
Wire the PEARL’s (E) output to the ERV/HRV enable signal.
To enable the ERV/HRV anytime the supply fan is enabled, but modulate the ERV/HRV speed based on room CO2 levels:
Wire the thermostat’s (G) output to the ERV/HRV enable signal and the PEARL’s (A1) output to modulate the ERV/HRV with its 0(2) – 10 VDC signal.
Note: In this configuration the ERV/HRV wheel will increase both during Demand Ventilation cycles and Economizer cycles. You can always disable Economizer or Demand Ventilation from the web-app if you do not want that sequence to play a factor in controlling the ERV/HRV.
