What is Fan Circulation Minutes?
Fan Circulation Minutes tells the thermostat to monitor how long the fan has run each hour.
If the fan has not run for the configured minimum minutes required, the thermostat will automatically enable the fan until the required fan circulation minutes has been met.
This configuration can be found in the Pelican Web-App > Admin > Thermostat Configuration > ‘select any thermostat‘ > Thermostat Operation > Fan Circulation Minutes
Configuration options and their meanings:
0 minutes (default): When set to “0”, there is no fan minimum run-time limit.
1 to 60 minutes: Setting a number from 1 up to 60 minutes, sets the minimum fan run-time timer to be active. For example, setting 60 minutes means the fan will run the entire hour. Setting to 5 minutes means the fan will run for a minimum of 5 minutes each hour.
