TS Thermostat Symbols
TS200, TS200H, TS250, and TS250H thermostats display symbols in the upper-left corner to indicate status updates and troubleshooting information. Below is a guide to understanding these symbols:
Symbol | Meaning & Recommended Action |
---|---|
O O (Two Dots) |
Connected to the Pelican Wireless Mesh Network but cannot reach the internet.
✅ Check your Pelican Gateway status for power and network connectivity. ✅ Ensure there are no gaps in your Pelican wireless network between the thermostat’s wireless connection point and the main wireless network with the Pelican Gateway. |
X O (X with One Dot) |
Cannot find the Pelican Wireless Mesh Network.
✅ Verify that the thermostat is within range of other Pelican devices or a repeater. ✅ Check if any repeaters or access points are Offline. |
X (X with No Dots) |
Unable to communicate with wiring module (WM500 or WM700).
✅ Ensure the thermostat is properly wired to the wiring module. ✅ Check that the [R] and [C] wires are correctly connected between the thermostat and wiring module. If reversed, devices might power On, but will be unable to communicate. ✅ Ensure there are no splices or loose connections between the [D] terminals. ✅ Confirm that all wires are properly seated in terminals and that all terminals are securely tightened. ✅ Test communication by re-mounting the wiring module back into the thermostat's backplate. |
O Solid (One Solid Dot) |
Thermostat is in vacation mode.
✅ Review the vacation schedule and adjust if necessary. |
O Blinking (One Blinking Dot) |
Firmware update in progress. The screen may remain blank during this process.
⚠️ Do not power off the thermostat until the update completes. Thermostat will restart automatically upon firmware update completion. |
O Blinking (One Blinking Dot – TS250 & TS250H only) |
CO₂ levels have exceeded the configured warning threshold.
✅ Review the CO₂ warning configuration and adjust if necessary. ⚠️ This notification is not designed an indication of a dangerous or emergency situation. High CO₂ warnings indicate a higher than normally space occupancy. For assistance or more information contact Pelican Technical Support. |
