What should I set a thermostat’s Zone Controller configuration to?
The following configurations are only available if there is a Pelican Zone Controller (Z8 or Z24) part of your Pelican Solution:
Zone Controller
For a Pelican Zoning Solution, each thermostat controls its own zone damper and requests Heating, Cooling, and Ventilation for a Pelican Zone Controller (Z8 or Z24) installed at the central HVAC unit. Select the correct Zone Controller for each Pelican thermostat to communicate with.
Note: In a Dual Duct applications, where the thermostat is controlling a separate cold deck and hot deck actuator, you will need to configure a Cooling Zone Controller and a Heating Zone Controller.
