This configuration is only available if there is a Z8 or Z24 part of your Pelican Solution. It is used when a thermostat is floating a zone reheat valve.
This configuration can be found in the Pelican Web-App > Admin > Thermostat Configuration > ‘select any thermostat‘ > Damper Settings > Reheat Type set to Floating
Floating Reheat Type configuration options and their meaning:
Reheat Type: Floating – the thermostat will use (W) to open the reheat valve and (W2) to close the reheat valve.
Actuator Travel Time: Sets in the thermostat how long it takes for the valve to go from fully closed to fully open. It is important to set this correctly since this timer is used by the thermostat to place the valve in the correct position. We recommend using a hand-held timer to time the actual travel time of the valve.
Maximum Reheat Position: Sets the valve position during a reheat cycle.
